Valdemar Tasting
Please join Tacoma Wine Merchants a we welcome Valdemar Family 5th generation family member, and director, Jesús Martínez Bujanda. We will wrap up Washington Wine Month by tasting with him 3 Valdemar Estates wines from Walla Walla as well as 2 Rioja wines from their Bodegas Valdemar estate in Spain. Please join us for this live, virtual tasting on Sunday, March 28th at 4:30pm PST.
The Martínez Bujanda family has been making wines in Spain for over 130 years. While in post-graduate overseas studies at the University of Washington, Jesús Martínez Bujanda visited Walla Walla and fell in love with the region, knowing someday he would be back. Indeed, he is back, having created the first internationally owned winery in Washington State. This is a unique opportunity to taste wines from both properties within Washington and Spain with Jesús.
Your tasting pack will consist of 4 ounces of each wine noted below (20 ounces total), perfect for sharing.
Conde Valdemar 2019 Rioja Tempranillo Blanco, retail $26

As usual, all wines tasted will be sold at a discount the day of the tasting, and your $5 bottle deposit will be refunded when you return the tasting bottles to the shop.
Your tasting kit will be available for pick up beginning at Noon (to 6pm) on Saturday the 27th. Should you need to pick up the kit at a different time, please contact us directly via email to organize and we will do our best to accomodate.
